CONSIGN

HOW TO CONSIGN:  

    Thank you for your interest in becoming a consignor at Smarty Pants. Our store sells a wide variety of clothes, accessories and furniture. We accept womens, girls, boys and infant clothes as well as an assortment of accessories from purses to jewelry. We also take in home furnishings that range from art and bedding to sofas and kitchen tables.

    When you bring in your smaller items you have the option of waiting until we sort through them and determine which items we can sell and the rest we will return to you; or you can leave the items with us and we will donate anything that we are unable to consign to Interfaith Cooperative Ministries. If we accept a clothing item that is out of season we may hold it until the appropriate selling time. If we discover an item that we have accepted is damaged, the item will be donated. 

    If you have larger items (i.e. a dresser) we ask that you bring in or email a picture along with any other information on the item via email so we can determine if it is something we can consign. You can also bring the item by in your own vehicle and we can check it out at our store. We do offer pickup and delivery of all items for a fee. 

RULES OF CONSIGNMENT

    -All items MUST be clean and ready to hang. 

    -Items that are stained, torn, tattered, have pet hair, or have odors will be donated.

    -Smarty Pants may donate items that have not sold after 60 days to ICM. 

    -You can come back and reclaim any of your unsold items at any time. However, Smarty Pants' staff can
     not assist you in retrieving your items and it is sometimes difficult to find items in the store.  We do not
     guarantee that you will be able to find your items. 

    -There may be a fee for retrieving items that are large and require assistance to load or move. 

    -Smarty Pants will do our best to protect your consigned items, however we are not responsible for any
     items that are lost, stolen, or damaged. 

    Smarty Pants creates a personalized account for your item(s). When your item(s) are sold you will automatically earn 45% of the selling price that will be directly deposited into your account. You can also use your earnings as store credit and receive an additional 10%. You may pick up these funds immediately after the item(s) sell and can cash out your account at the check-out cash register.
